William Brackeen was born in Memphis, TN in 1969 and has lived in Arkansas most of his life. A 1987 graduate of Batesville High School, he obtained a degree in communications from Arkansas State University and worked in radio in Northeast Arkansas for several years before making the natural leap to the collections industry.
William was a lifelong Republican until the Bush Administration cured him of that affliction. He then made his way slowly but surely into the Libertarian Party, admiring it’s fiscal conservatism and the social tolerance the GOP was so sorely lacking.
He is a school choice advocate living in Maumelle, Ar with his wife Margie and their two children. He hopes to help make some changes that the D’s and R’s lack the desire or political will to make.
