This year we wanted to find ways to help in our community. One of the suggestions that was made by members was to join the Adopt A Street program, and we have now done just that. The program involves adopting street segments, then conducting trash cleanups along those segments at least 6 times per year. Once we’ve been conducting cleanups for 6 months, signs recognizing our organization will be placed at each end our our street segments. The segments we adopted are:
- Chenal Parkway between Chenal Valley North and Chenonceau
- Kanis Road between Atkins and Kirby
- Chicot Road between Mabelvale Cutoff and Hillsboro
As weather allows, we will announce the times and places for these cleanups on Saturday afternoons throughout the year. If you are interested in helping, please check our calendar of events and watch our social media accounts for these announcements.
